Title: From ground effects to F-duct: McLaren's game-changing technologies
Client: McLaren
Studio: Outrun Films
My roles: Motion Design, Editing, Drone Pilot

This is quite a good example of an edit with some motion tracked graphics. I have fond memories of being on set for this one, given the blending of production and post I’ve had throughout much of my career. This was also during a period I flew drones and flying over cars without GPS and was a nerve racking first professional drone shoot over cars that weren’t only valuable but were irreplaceable. But all was well, my training kicked in and we got the aerial shots you see. More hilariously is a photo that exists of my terrible old beaten up Honda Jazz lined up next to the cream of McLaren automotive engineering (sadly I've been forbidden from posting it!). I had the benefit of the client on set with reference in hand for how they wanted the motion design to look, and I was able to take those conversations with me into post - like the fact 35 degrees reoccurs as an angle throughout McClaren’s design language.
